About Nikki Woods
Hi, I’m Nikki Woods and this is my blog to keep you all up to speed with the frantic life I’ll be having over the next two or three months re-launching two of the three restaurants at London's wonderful Barbican Centre. I'm responsible for the fantastic new LOUNGE (previously Balcony Bistro) and FOOD HALL (ex Waterside). I’ve come from the Gordon Ramsay school, my last gig was at Maze, so I’m used to a pretty pressurised life. Basically as General Manager, I’m the glue that’s supposed to bind the whole thing together – if there’s a mistake anywhere at any time it’s going to be down to me; so no pressure!
